  Internal and external hemorrhoids are a vascular disease; once they act up, they are very painful!  Complex peptides from plants chase away years of hemorrhoid build up, with no relapse!

       ARISONA HEALTH OF USA INC.  Dr. Huang Shih-pin, of the Nantou Hospital Clinical Naturopathic Medicine R & D Team of Physicians, indicates that…

Hemorrhoids are uncomfortable when sitting or standing for lengthy periods of time, and even negatively affect work and rest. So what actually should be done about it?

I. Common symptoms of hemorrhoids are:

1. Burning pain while defecating, sometimes accompanied by bright red blood;

2. Pain when the anal aperture is touched, or continuous pain;

3. Feeling that there is large and swollen object in the anal cavity.

II. Common causes of hemorrhoids

1. Standing or sitting for lengthy periods of time increases pressure on the stomachs of pregnant women;

2. Having an affinity for spicy foods;

3. Experiencing constipation, diarrhea or unpleasant bowel movements;

4. Pulling all-nighters and unconventional work-sleep habits;

5. Insufficient consumption of fiber and water;

6. Heavy drinkers and those with liver diseases.

III. Pathological mechanisms that create hemorrhoids

Hemorrhoids form because pressure inside the anal cavity causes the veins below the mucus membranes on the anorectal canal to expand and contort. And the most common reason for the increased pressure in the anal cavity is long-term constipation. Other relevant reasons include standing for lengthy periods of time or being bed-ridden for a long time, a lack of exercise, insufficient consumption of fruits and vegetables, pregnancies, obesity, and various illnesses that give rise to frequent pressure in the stomach such as cirrhosis, hydroperitoneum, tumors in the abdominal cavity, and prostate hyperplasia.

IV. Complications from hemorrhoids

1. Bleeding. Patients are not inclined to go to the bathroom, because hemorrhoids break out, causing painful bowel movements. Over time, the stools harden, and are even more difficult to pass. Exerting force to have a bowel movement results in blood congestion, and once the skin breaks, bleeding frequently occurs.

2. Anal prolapse. Brought on by deterioration of internal and mixed hemorrhoids leading to constrictions, which result in necrosis of anal tissue and inflammation.

V. From the standpoint of clinical naturopathic medicine, fistulas and hemorrhoids are vascular diseases. Treatment with laxatives and suppositories produce no tangible results. Currently, Western physicians who only employ surgery as a treatment see recurrent rates close to 60% or higher with anal fistulas and anal stenosis as possible side effects, for which Western methods use only suppositories as analgesics; there are actually no Western medications that can treat or cure fistulas and hemorrhoids. TCM physicians outside mostly use extract granules from a combination of coptis, rhubarb, and baical (baikal) skullcap taken with warm water, hemorrhoid relief pills, laxatives, and other formulae that aid the production of diarrhea to treat hemorrhoids, but the therapeutic effect achieved is not very noticeable.
